What are the needles made from?

The needles on the TLC Roller are made from 100% titanium and are 0.25mm long, making them safe for at-home treatments.

Does this treatment hurt?

The needles on the Roller are so tiny that they don’t hurt, it just feels like a slightly scratchy sensation. It’s totally bearable and only takes about 5-10 minutes to do.

Is it suitable for all skin types?

Yes, it’s suitable for all skin types (oily, dry, normal, combination), but it’s not suitable for the following skin conditions: Sensitive skin, active acne, open wounds, cold sores, rosacea, keloid scarring, melasma, psoriasis or eczema.

How often do I use the TLC Roller?

For best results, we recommend using your Roller twice a week in your evening routine. The treatments should be evenly spaced to give your skin enough time to recover in-between sessions.

Where do I use the TLC Roller in my routine?

The TLC Roller is always used straight after your double cleanse in the evening. Once the treatment is complete, you can then apply your serums and moisturiser on top.

How do I clean the TLC Roller?

It’s super important that your Roller is sterilised after each use. To do this, run it under boiling water and then spritz it with a sanitising spray before storing it back in its protective case.

How often does the TLC Roller need replacing?

You should replace your TLC Roller every 6 months to keep the needles sharp and effective.

Can I use the TLC Roller whilst pregnant or breastfeeding?

We do not recommend microneedling whilst pregnant, but it is safe to use whilst breastfeeding.
